BUZZWRKSTECHNOLOGY Book a free assessment

A working relationship in four steps.

You will know the scope, the fee and the first month's plan before you sign anything. The assessment findings are yours whether you proceed or not.

What the first sixty days look like.

  1. 1

    Free assessment

    60 minutes

We spend an hour with you, on-site in Johannesburg or remote, looking at how your IT actually runs: devices, backups, security basics, and where you stand against POPIA.

    • No preparation needed from your side
    • Read-only, so nothing is installed or changed
    • A written findings summary within two days
  2. 2

    Fixed-scope proposal

    Within 3 days

One page. Which plan fits, what is covered, what is explicitly not, and the fixed monthly fee. If a once-off project makes more sense first, we quote that instead.

    • Fixed monthly fee, no hourly billing surprises
    • 12-month agreement, then your choice to renew or go month to month
    • Anything out of scope is quoted before work starts
  3. 3

    Onboarding

    First 30 days

The first month is about visibility and closing the dangerous gaps. We document what you have, deploy monitoring, and fix the things that cannot wait.

    • Full asset and licence register built
    • Monitoring and alerting live across your estate
    • Backups verified with a test restore
    • Critical patches and security basics such as MFA and admin accounts closed first
  4. 4

    Steady state

    Every month

Support runs in the background and the report proves it. The report arrives on the first working day of each month, followed by a short review call if you want one.

    • Uptime, patch status and backup results, verified rather than assumed
    • Security events raised and what we did about them
    • Licence and asset changes, plus spend you can cut
    • Recommendations ranked by risk, each with a cost

Common questions.

Are we locked into a contract?

Yes, for 12 months. The security, backup and monitoring licences behind your plan are bought from vendors on annual terms, and onboarding is front-loaded work, so a 12-month agreement is what lets us keep the per-user price this low. At the end of the term you choose: renew for another 12 months, or continue month to month with 30 days' notice.

We already have an IT person. Does this replace them?

Not necessarily. We often work alongside an internal person or incumbent provider, taking the monitoring, security and compliance layer while they handle the hands-on daily work. If you want a full takeover, we manage the transition.

What size business is this for?

Roughly 5 to 50 seats. Below that, the free assessment plus a once-off fix is usually more honest than a retainer. Above that, we will tell you if you need something bigger than us.

How fast do you respond?

Support runs Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, excluding public holidays. Response times within those hours are agreed in your proposal by priority; a down server is not a printer query. Monitoring runs around the clock, and anything it raises after hours is picked up at the start of the next working day. Response times are measured, and the numbers appear in your monthly report.

Do you do once-off projects?

Yes. POPIA implementations, Microsoft 365 migrations, automation builds and security clean-ups are all quoted at a fixed price after the assessment. No retainer required.

Where do you operate?

On-site across Johannesburg, remote support nationwide. Most steady-state work is remote, which is what keeps the fees affordable for a small business.
